DEVELOPMENT STAGE: (10 minutes)
1. The teacher briefly explain what is Adjectives
and narrow it down to adjective for character traits and personality.
2. The teacher uses infographic video to explain
the character traits and personality.
3. Teacher discusses with the class and encourage
participation by asking the students to name their friends based on the character traits listed.
4. Students practice their understanding
towards the character traits adjective by answering the questions given in Quizziz Game.
Students Join the live game in Quizziz and answer the questions provided.
ACTIVITY 1: List the Character
Traits (15 minutes)
1. Teacher encourage
the students to tell their favourite webtoon/ comic characters.
2. Students describe
it in Padlet wall based on the questions:

What do they look like?
·
What makes the character special?
·
What can they do? Have they got special powers?
·
What are their special interests or ambitions?
3. Teacher review
the students’ character description and discuss the outcome of the activity
with the whole class.

ACTIVITY 2: Make a Webtoon Character
(25 minutes)
1. In pairs, the students
are required to invent their own character using Pixton.com
Students use Pixton website to make their own Webtoon character.
2. Give the character
a name and special traits based on what they have learnt early.

Example of a character created by the teacher. The girl's name is Kak Wani. An online seller for a slimming product. Very friendly towards the customer.

3. Teacher shows a
demonstration on how to use the website and the features available to create the Webtoon character.
4. The students
should also write and prepare a background story for their character.
5. Then, the
students can post and share their character in the Padlet wall.

6. Teacher will
choose several pairs to present their character in front of the class.
7. Teacher review
the students’ character and character traits and discuss the outcome of the
activity with the students.
